“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” – Acts 20:35

At a time of year where we have bound up our blessings and have come together to worship and rejoice with the Lord and His People, we have an opportunity to shine like a light in the community to serve those who are daily doing a work of James 1:27.  Fulfilling Feasts are when we not only rejoice among ourselves, but take some of our time or share some of our blessings to serve others.

On Wednesday October 11, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM we will sponsor two opportunities to share and serve a people in the area that has made efforts to accommodate our group for years and years.  You can do one or the other, or both if you want to afford the time.

West Tennessee Sabbath Congregation at Lexington Manor Nursing Home

We will have an opportunity to shine for older folks in the area at a nursing home just a short distance from the Convention Center.  For those able and willing, we will sing hymns and visit with shut-ins and play games, paint nails and share the joy of Christ with those who will enjoy the time we spend with them.

Here is an opportunity to serve the truly needy in the area by helping to sort donations, hang up clothing and clean donated items that are sold to raise money for the local Paducah area.   The Center is a 30 minute drive from the Convention Center.
